Born into this world to be washed to the shore lifeless. These young refugees remind me so much of my students. Cheerful, playful and beautiful. But these refugees didn't have the chance to know what happiness truly is. How does it feel to live a day without expecting death the next. They are supposed to be in a playground, crying over bruised knees, getting amazed by butterflies and learning about nature. Yet they're starving in a boat, sleeping in the middle of the ocean and counting down to their last sleep. RIP to #AylanKurdi and all the unnamed refugees."
