Isn't it pathetic how the power of media dictates what we care for or sympathise towards nowadays. A month ago a month old baby was found lying dead under rubble after US Coalition airstrikes bombarded a town in ash-Shaam. But maybe you never heard about it due to lack of media coverage, however the reality of the incident on the beach of Turkey where Aylan al-Kurdi lay soulless and the month old baby who lay soulless under the rubble in ash-Sham share one similar story, both were a result of murder, both have the right for the Ummah to cry for them and both have a right over this Ummah to seek their vengeance and bring to justice the criminals responsible for the heinous massacre they had become victim of. I pray for those among the Ummah who witness these deaths that they do not become complacent or rely on media to feed and breath life into their hearts to ache for the oppressed.
